David Price Metal Services, a leader in the design and fabrication of specialized equipment, is in search of a Quality Inspector. Candidate will perform dimensional measurement and inspection of a variety of machined and fabricated components using a wide array of precision measuring equipment and a FARO arm measuring device.

Job Functions:

  • Accurate blueprint reading and interpretation for many types of manufacturing and many different industries.
  • Dimensional inspection using a variety of other metrology equipment and hand-tools including FARO arm.
  • Dimensional Inspection to drawings, procedures & customer specifications.
  • Generate and methodically review professional reports of measurement results.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector.
  • Experience operating a FARO articulating measuring arm desired, but not required.
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimension &Tolerance (GD&T).
  • Dimensional inspection using a variety of precision instruments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work with little supervision.
  • Resourceful and creative problem solver.

Human Resources Manager

Essential Functions:

  • Day-to-day management of employee relations, conflict resolution, coaching and counseling
  • Manage Worker’s Compensation claims and investigations
  • Liaison with payroll regarding employee files (pay, benefits, etc.)
  • Recruit hourly and salary team members
  • Conducts new employee orientation
  • Compensation & benefits
  • OSHA record keeping & compliance
  • Safety audits & training

Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge and understanding of HR law
  • Knowledge and understating of OHSA regulations for manufacturing and OTR trucking
  • Ability to use MS Office products
  • 5+ years of Human resource experience
  • 3+ years of safety experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
  • OSHA record keeping & compliance
  • PHR certification preferred

Work environment:

  • Must be able to work in office and shop floor environment
  • Hours for position are dictated by workload requiring more than a typical 40 hour week.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

David Price Metal Services is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This position is responsible for developing mechanical and electromechanical products and systems that meet our customers’ requirements.
Position overview:

  • Read and interpret blue prints, technical drawings, schematics and computer generated reports.
  • Evaluate mechanical and electromachanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs, applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer and materials.
  • Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods
  • Develops products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods / materials and soliciting observations from operators.
  • Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building , assembling and installing components.
  • Assures system and product quality through ongoing inspection and testing
  • Maintain technical accuracy of customer requirements and specific design details.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provides engineering information by answering both internal and external requests.
  • Use of Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk 2D and 3D CAD software
    Salary is commiserate with experience, and includes a benefit package.

Industrial Electrician

Key Functions:

 

Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.

Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.David Price Electrician job available

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.

Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications.

Follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.

Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.

Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

Construct and fabricate parts, using hand tools and specifications.

Electrical Engineer

Key Functions:

Draft schematics and plans in AutoCAD Electrical 2013

Analyze prototype drawings

Communicate with Engineering Manger on design decisions

Coordinate with build and installation teams to ensure product quality

Inspect electric systems for compliance to design

Assist with start-up / debug of new equipment and systems
